ABOUT SPEAR OF SURVIVAL

Folks talk a lot. We jibber jabber our way through social media, blogs, school, work, and life. In the process, words get bandied about so much that they lose their original values. The academics call such words clichés – an idea or phrase that is no longer interesting or effective from having been used so much.

The most abused of these words is GREATNESS. Even alcohol brewers and beneficiaries of the liquor value chain are in on it. Do folks really understand what that word means? If we were to hold people to account by the words they say, might not many be found guilty of heinous insincerity than are chained in the most dangerous prisons? The Christ said, “For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned” in Matthew 12.37. We believe it’s time to lay down the law and demand folks prove their words.

No matter where folks hide, so long as they say the word, whether for real or in vain, we will find them and prove them by the Spear until they either relinquish their false claims to Greatness or renounce their claims on mediocrity. And this proving is done against the backdrop of the mightiest physical forces known to Man – the forces of Nature. No mountain is too high, no river is too deep, no forest is too dark, and no island is too remote to subject our Greatness-wannabees to the ultimate survival quest – the Spear of Survival.

There are four segments of the Spear. And the winning Quester is the one that finds them all, joins them together to unleash the Spirit of Greatness and defends it to the very end. We make only one promise though: No matter what happens, we will never apologize to our Questers.

Are you ready? #SurvivalGreatness beckons.

ADVENTURE HAS A HOME IN GHANA.

In our wildly beautiful country, you can bike among herds of antelope in the Shai Hills Reserve, while troops of Baboons bark at you in support. You can hike on Ghana’s breath-taking mountain landforms in the Afadjato Highlands, and feel the thrill of Greatness when Earth, Sky and Lake meet. How about abseiling the Akaa Waterfalls? Or the empty bedrock of the 50-metre Oworobong Waterfalls? All you’d have to do is to strap into a rope as thick as your middle finger, lean back over the edge and trust gravity to do the rest. And now, you can kayak on the largest man-made lake on Earth and explore the vast expanse of Lake Volta on our Poseidon Kayaking Expeditions.
